- You want to write U.S. dollar cheques to pay for purchases in Canada.
- You want to keep any U.S. funds remaining after a vacation or business trip to use for a future trip, without having to convert your funds back and forth between currencies.
- You prefer to exchange Canadian funds for U.S. funds when rates are favourable and not necessarily when you travel.
