Once you have entered your Convenience Card number and Telephone Banking password, the main menu will direct you to initiate the stop payment.
To initiate a stop payment, you need to know:
- The type of account the payment came from (chequing or savings)
- The exact dollar amount of the payment
- The cheque number
- The payee name
*Processing of a stop payment is subject to information being complete and accurate and the item not already having been processed.
