Personal information contained in your candidate profile will be stored in a secure database that is accessible only to authorized individuals involved in CIBC's recruitment and selection process, new hire administration, and the management of CIBC's web-based Recruitment Management System (Njoyn). The information will be stored in the database for up to 27 months from the last time you update your candidate profile (e.g., uploaded new resumé, applied to a new position, etc.).

If you do not update your candidate profile within a 27-month timeframe, an e-mail reminder will be sent to you. If you choose not to update your candidate profile within 7 calendar days after receiving the reminder e-mail, your candidate profile will be removed from the database and archived to a secure server. Once archived, your candidate profile will no longer be active in the Recruitment Management System (Njoyn) and will not be accessible via http://www.cibc.com/careers.

CIBC uses the personal information contained in your active and archived candidate profile for recruitment, selection and hiring purposes. CIBC may also use this information for general statistical analysis/reporting and reasonable ancillary purposes. We will not use this information for any other purpose without your consent.
