Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation CIBC for the Cure Run raises $26.5 million

Thanks to the support of more than 170,000 Canadians, the 2009 Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation CIBC Run for the Cure raised $26.5 million.

CIBC employees across Canada showed their passion for the cause by organising community fundraising events, collecting pledges and proceeds from the CIBC Pink Collection™, and participating in the Run. This year more than 13,000 CIBC participants and volunteers raised close to $3 million.

The Run is CIBC’s most strongly supported cause. Together with the Foundation we are helping to create a future without breast cancer.

The CIBC Pink Collection™ is a line of pink ribbon products, available to the public for a suggested contribution in support of the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation. Products are available in branches across Canada from June through October each year.
