CIBC Telephone Banking won an award for its Interactive Voice Response (IVR) system. The IVR has received the highest customer satisfaction rating in the 2008 Service Quality Management (SQM) Group Inc. Contact Centre Awards Program. This is the fourth time CIBC has won this award.

 

CIBC recognized for internal eLearning program (E-learning/CMTT award for Training Excellence)

CIBC's 2008 Corporate Mandatory Training and Testing (CMTT) program was recently recognized by the Canadian Society for Training and Development (CSTD) with a Silver Canadian Award for Training Excellence in Internal eLearning. Best internet bank award - 2008. Global Finance Global Finance magazine selected CIBC as the "Best Consumer Internet Bank" in Canada and the "Best Online Consumer Credit Site" in North America in its 9th annual "World's Best Internet Banks" competition.

 

Climate Disclosure Leader

CIBC was selected for the second year in a row as a 2008 Climate Disclosure Leader by the Conference Board of Canada and the Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP). Specifically, CSTD judges cited CIBC's Internal Control Repository (ICR) Learning Program for its overall value to employees, and concluded that "the ICR Learning Program could be used as a model for blended learning."

 

Forrester Research Inc. ranks CIBC’s client website the strongest overall

CIBC’s client website, cibc.com, received the highest score in 2007 when comparing the overall scores of two separate studies conducted by Forrester Research Inc. in 2007.

 

Renaissance Investments wins two Canadian Investment Awards

Renaissance Investments took home two top honours at the 13th Annual Canadian Investment Awards. For the 5th consecutive year, the Renaissance Global Health Care Fund won in the category of Healthcare Equity Fund. CIBC’s OTIS program recognized with Financial Innovation Award

CIBC won a 2006 ifs/Capgemini Financial Innovation Award for its successful implementation of the Operations & Technology Integrated Strategy (OTIS). The OTIS program, designed to improve the way Global Operations delivers services to clients and business partners, prevailed over initiatives from four other global banks to earn the award for Most Effective Back Office Initiative-Mainstream. CIBC was the only Canadian bank to win an award in 2006.

CIBC Ranked 10th overall in the KPMG/Ipsos-Reid annual survey of Canada’s Most Respected Corporations

For the second year in a row, CIBC placed 10th in "Canada's Most Respected Corporations" survey conducted by Ipsos-Reid and sponsored by KPMG. The annual survey asks leading Canadian CEOs to name the Canadian companies they respect most. The poll also measures respect in a variety of categories.

 

JVS Toronto awards CIBC with Corporate Leadership Award

CIBC was presented with the Corporate Leadership Award by JVS Toronto in recognition CIBC’s efforts to provide a flexible and supportive workplace for persons with disabilities. JVS Toronto is a community-based agency that helps individuals to identify their educational and vocational goals, and develop the necessary skills and knowledge to achieve those goals.
