As Region Head, Private Banking British Columbia, Gary Laxon leads a team of Private Bankers who work in partnership with Investment Counsellors, Senior Trust and Estate Consultants, Commercial Banking, Capital Markets and Retail Banking groups. As a team, they are focused on assisting clients in growing, preserving and transitioning their wealth through an integrated approach.

Gary has over 35 years in the financial services industry leading a variety of businesses and teams across British Columbia. Throughout his career, he has served in both advisory and senior management roles in Retail Banking, Commercial Banking, Credit Risk Management and Private Wealth Management.

During his long career Gary has lived in multiple communities in British Columbia and Vancouver Island but has called Vancouver home for the past 27 years. He attended Dalhousie University where he obtained a Masters of Business Administration degree.
