Stephen’s been active in the Financial Services Industry for over 30 years. He's a graduate of Mount Allison University and received his Chartered Accountant designation in 1985.

Before entering the investment industry in 1998, Stephen was a practicing Chartered Accountant with a national firm as well as a partner in a local firm for 12 years. Stephen’s had extensive training and experience in investment management, taxation, business acquisitions, and personal and business planning.

Stephen is Managing Director, Region Head and First Vice President in Atlantic Canada overseeing CIBC Private Wealth Management operations including CIBC Wood Gundy, CIBC Trust, CIBC Insurance and CIBC Private Banking. Stephen’s been a recipient of the Chartered Accountant of the Year for Nova Scotia and was awarded Branch Manager of the Year in Canada for CIBC Wood Gundy in 2012. He’s active in his Community in various organizations as a Director and Volunteer.
