Futurpreneur Canada was officially co-founded by CIBC in 1996. CIBC continues to be a funding, strategic, and community partner. 

Futurpreneur is the only national, non-profit organization that provides financing, mentoring and support tools to aspiring business owners aged 18-39. Its mentoring program matches young entrepreneurs with a business expert from a network of more than 3,200 volunteer mentors. Since its inception, it has financed over 11,000 entrepreneurs, helped create more than 47,000 jobs and helped generate tax revenues of more than $287 million.
