CIBC Mortgage Documents

Effective September 1, 2022, the following forms have been updated:

• 5453QC FR Deed of Hypothecary Loan – Fixed Rate (Version anglaise)
• 5453QC VF Deed of Hypothecary Loan – Variable Rate (Version anglaise)

The English version has been converted into a bilingual form to ensure there is a French portion that may be filed with the Registry Office. Please fill in the blank fields only, as you have done in the past, and do not change the form in any way. Please immediately stop using all previous versions of this form that you may have printed or saved, as they are outdated and no longer meet the new French-only filing requirements.

On February 3, 2019, the following documents for Quebec were updated:

• Instructions au notaire – Propriété existante
• Mandat spécifique au notaire – Vérification de l’identité
• Demande de fonds Propriété existante
• Rapport final du notaire
• Page couverture – Transmission par télécopieur

Please immediately stop using previous copies of these documents for Quebec, including those you may have printed or saved, as they are now obsolete.

Please use the barcode fax cover sheet when faxing documents that do not have a barcode.

Use Internet Explorer (IE) when generating CIBC barcoded mortgage documents. This will ensure they have the required barcode.

• 5453F QC FR – Acte de prêt hypothécaire – Taux fixe
• 5453F QC VR – Acte de prêt hypothécaire – Taux variable
• 5453 QC FR – Deed of Hypothecary Loan – Fixed Rate
• 5453 QC VR – Deed of Hypothecary Loan – Variable Rate

Please immediately stop using all previous copies of these documents, including those you may have printed or saved, as they are now obsolete.
