Jamie Golombek, CPA®, CFP, CLU®
Jamie earned his Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA®) designation in Ontario and qualified as a U.S. CPA in Illinois. He also holds the Certified Financial Planning (CFP) and Chartered Life Underwriting (CLU®) designations. He joined CIBC in 2008 after having spent 12 years with a global investment company.
Jamie is quoted frequently in the national media as an expert on taxation; he writes a weekly National Post column called “Tax Expert”, which is syndicated nationally in Postmedia publications. He has also appeared regularly as a guest on BNN, CTV News and CBC’s The National. Jamie also teaches an MBA course in Personal Finance at the Schulich School of Business at Toronto’s York University in Toronto.
