I think it all starts from being an excellent listener.

I think very often, as advisors, trying to tell clients what we can do for them, what solutions, products, services are available, but I think we really need to step back and listen to them.

Find out about who they are, where they're coming from, what their aspirations are, what level of communication are they looking for with their advisors. And I think this is a process which requires both honesty and transparency from both advisors and clients.

Women need to understand where they are in terms of the finances. They want to make sure they've made the right decision in regards to their savings and their investments.

They want to make sure they will be able to retire comfortably, not only being able to take care of themselves, but also take care of the ones they care about.

Every family is different. Some spouses want to be more actively engaged in making decisions in regards to their wealth management.

I think it's extremely important for all the parties involved to be there to have that discussion. Only then, we will be able to deliver solutions that are tailored to their needs.

Life will throw us some curveballs from time to time. There are things in life we just cannot be prepared for.
