Credit and debit card sleeves
CIBC offers Braille or large print card sleeves to help you identify the cards in your wallet and read key information on them. The sleeves provide the card name, card number and expiry date in Braille or large print.
Request card sleeves free of charge for any CIBC card by calling us:
- For credit card sleeves, call 1-800-465-4653 Opens your phone app.

Audio-access ATMs
CIBC ATMs meet our “access for all” requirements at almost every banking centre and at a growing number of non-branch locations.
“Access for all” ATMs let you use your own headphones to hear private voice instructions for your transaction.
You can also choose to blank out the screen while using the ATM, so no one can see your information.
Statements and cheques
Get Braille or large print statements for your CIBC deposit accounts and Visa* accounts. To request an accessible statement format, visit any CIBC Banking Centre. Or you can call CIBC Telephone Banking at 1-800-465-2422 Opens your phone app. or 1-800-465-7401 for teletype devices (TTY). Opens your phone app. (TTY).
Braille and large print statements are free of charge for any CIBC account. They include the same information as a standard statement. When you receive Braille and large print statements, you also receive a standard print statement in the mail.
Braille Grade 1 and Grade 2 statements for your CIBC deposit accounts and Visa* accounts are available by request.
Large print statements are also available for your CIBC deposit accounts and Visa* accounts by request. Large print statements are printed in a 16-point Verdana font, as per industry and Canadian Government standards.
Large print cheques are also available upon request. Order them the same way as standard cheques — online, by phone or in a banking centre.
