Futurpreneur Canada (formerly CYBF)
CIBC is pleased to be one of the founding members of Futurpreneur Canada (formerly Canadian Youth Business Foundation). Established in 1996, Futurpreneur Canada provides a full spectrum of financing, mentoring and support tools to Canadian entrepreneurs 18 to 39 years old. Part of this support includes the essential start-up credit and mentoring needed to get those great ideas off the ground. To date, Futurpreneur Canada has supported more than 8,300 young Canadian entrepreneurs.

Canada Business Network
Canada Business Network provides Canadian business people with a wide range of information on government services, programs and regulations. Start-up entrepreneurs and those established small and medium-sized businesses in any sector will find them especially helpful. The current network of 12 centres, one in every province as well as the Northwest Territories and the Yukon, is the result of cooperative arrangements between federal and provincial governments and, in some cases, the private sector.
The Canada Business Network is expanding to include regional access partners in many other communities across Canada. Most of these organizations, who already serve the business public in some way, include: Economic Development and Community Futures Corporation and Chambers of Commerce.

Business Development Bank of Canada
The mission of the Business Development Bank of Canada is to help create and develop strong Canadian businesses through financing, consulting services and securitization, with a focus on small and medium-sized enterprises. Through their subsidiary, BDC Capital, they also offer a full spectrum of specialized financing, including venture capital and equity as well as growth and business transition capital. The Business Development Bank of Canada supports entrepreneurs in all industries and at all stages of development from more than 100 business centres across Canada.

Export Development Canada (EDC)
Export Development Canada (EDC) is Canada's export credit agency. EDC supports and develops Canada's export trade by helping Canadian companies respond to international business opportunities. EDC is a self-financing Crown corporation that operates at arm's length from the Government. EDC provides insurance and financial services, bonding products and business solutions to Canadian exporters and investors and their international buyers. They also support Canadian direct investment abroad and investment into Canada.
Particularly, EDC offers the Export Guarantee Program (EGP), which shares the financial risk with your bank so you can:
- get the financing you need to break into new markets,
- purchase the new equipment necessary to take on new orders, or
- support international investments
