Heather Kaine is the global leader for CIBC’s Internal Audit function, which provides independent assurance and advisory services across all lines of business to maintain strong controls, risk management and governance for our bank.
Heather joined CIBC in 2014 and has held a number of senior leadership roles in finance including Chief Financial Officer for Wealth Management and Global Controller. Prior to joining our bank, she spent 10 years as a Financial Services Audit Partner at KPMG Canada leading the Banking audit practice in Toronto.
She holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Toronto and is a Fellow of CPA Ontario (FCPA, FCA). Heather also contributes her time as a Finance and Audit Committee Member for CAMH: The Centre for Addiction and Mental Health.
