The Offer begins on April 14, 2025.

In order to be eligible to receive a waiver of up to twelve (12) months of monthly account fees for a Basic Business Operating Account or Everyday Business Operating Account, you must meet the following criteria:
- Open your first Basic Business Operating Account or Everyday Business Operating Account, after April 14, 2025, online on our site and include the promotional code CIBCTRADES before submitting your business account application.
- Keep the Basic Business Operating Account or Everyday Business Operating Account open and in good standing.
- The monthly fee waiver will be programmed commencing the first full month, after the end of the month in which the account is opened. In any case, you are eligible to receive a total of twelve (12) months of waived monthly fees, if all eligibility criteria is met.

4 “Minimum balance” condition is met when the required minimum daily balance of $20,000 is maintained in your Everyday Business Operating Account at the end of each calendar day in the billing month. If you maintained the minimum daily balance, your statement will reflect the monthly account fee as a charge and a rebate.
5 Self-service access option has a monthly fee of $20 and refers to cheques written as well as transactions performed through an ATM, Point of Sale terminal, ABM-Wallet Combo Depository Service, CIBC Telephone Banking Automated Service, CIBC Business Contact Centre Automated Service, CIBC Online Banking, SmartBanking® for Business (SmartBanking), CIBC Cash Management Online® (CMO), CIBC eDeposit for cash, or CIBC eDeposit for cheques.
6 Full-service access option has a monthly fee of $25 and refers to transactions performed in a CIBC Banking Centre, through a CIBC Telephone Banking representative, through a CIBC Business Contact Centre representative, or through the regular Wallet Depository Service. Full-service access fee applies if any full-service transactions are performed in a month.
7 CIBC Business Line of Credit: This offer applies to Canadian Dollar credit product only. To qualify for the offer, client should: (i) hold or open their first CIBC Business Operating Account®, then (ii) contact their CIBC Relationship Manager or call 1-866-992-7223. to apply for their first eligible CIBC Business Line of Credit. 15 CIBC Pace It™ Installment Plans allow eligible cardholders to convert eligible Card Transaction(s) to monthly installment payments (including interest) over a fixed period of time. When you create an installment plan you will have the ability to choose the payment term (in months) with a corresponding annual interest rate. Once you accept the Installment Plan Terms and Conditions and the installment plan is created, you can cancel it at any time but you cannot change it. 16 CIBC Aventura® Visa* Card for Business: To qualify for this offer, applications for a new CIBC Aventura® Visa* Card for Business must be submitted and approved beginning Month Date (TBC), 2025.
In order to be eligible for this offer, clients must abide by the terms and conditions set out below.
If an application for a CIBC Aventura® Visa* Card for Business is submitted and approved, the Primary Cardholder can receive:
a) A welcome bonus of 20,000 Aventura Points after the first purchase is made at any time on the Credit Card Account.
b) An additional bonus of 10,000 Aventura Points after the first purchase is made (within 4 months of account opening) on the Credit Card Account.

17 The $1,800 value is based on the maximum redemption value of $800 for 35,000 Aventura Points on two long-haul airfare purchases ($1,600 travel value), based on the Aventura Airline Rewards Chart, before taxes and other charges, as of March 1, 2023; annual fee rebate for the first year (of at least $120) for the Primary Cardholder and three additional cards ($150).

To obtain an Airline Travel Reward using the Aventura Airline Rewards Chart, you must redeem at least 80% of the total number of Aventura Points required to purchase it. If you don’t have enough Aventura Points to purchase an Airline Travel Reward in full (but have at least 80% of the required number of Aventura Points), you may have the Centre charge an amount to your Card to cover the Points Deficit, excluding Taxes and Other Charges. For a business class flight, you may have the Centre charge an amount to your Card to cover the Points Deficit for an economy class ticket in the same flight segment as the business class ticket you want, excluding Taxes and Other Charges. If you have the Centre charge an amount to your Card to cover the Points Deficit for an Airline Travel Reward and you are advised that the Aventura Travel Reward is refundable, then, in the event of a refund, the amount previously charged to your Card will not be refunded to your Credit Card Account and instead you will receive Aventura Points equal to the Points Deficit.

For CIBC Aventura Visa Card for Business with an annual fee of $180: the annual interest rates are 12.99%, 15.99% or 18.99% for Purchases and 14.5%, 17.5% or 21.5% for Cash Advances, Balance Transfers and CIBC Convenience Cheques. The annual interest rates assigned to the Account will be based on your personal credit bureau and other information at the time the request is processed.
For CIBC Aventura Visa Card for Business with an annual fee of $120: the annual interest rates are 19.99% for Purchases and 21.99% for Cash Advances, Balance Transfers and CIBC Convenience Cheques.
19 Aventura Points will be cancelled if they remain unredeemed for 60 days after you voluntarily close your Aventura credit card account or within 12 months of the primary cardholder’s death.
20 Only the Primary Cardholder is permitted to perform a “Payment with Points” or “Financial Product with Points” redemption. Other Cardholders are not eligible. Redemptions are non-refundable, non-exchangeable and non-transferable unless you are advised otherwise. Requested redemption amount must be equal to or less than the available points balance. Points to dollars conversion ratio is determined by CIBC and can be changed at any time without notice. Payment with Points redemption towards credit card balances will be reflected within five business days.
