“During challenging economic times, they were willing to listen to my story and believed in what I am doing for my community. While many financial institutions were putting the brakes on supporting and lending to businesses, they decided to go all-in on me and my dreams.”

The 416 Dentistry team has been paying it forward and spreading positivity since 2015 with an interactive social media campaign that features the smiles and stories of multicultural Torontonians with #smileTO Opens in a new window.. The campaign has led to more than 1,000 donations of oral care packages and food. Dr. Adinata explained, “Smiles are contagious and for each smile that we feature we donate an oral care package to someone in need.”

Dr. Adinata has also used the time to improve his skills, taking advantage of readings, virtual seminars, and applying for a masters at King’s College in London, England.
