If the Government of Canada has issued a Level 3 Travel Advisory for COVID-19 (avoid non-essential travel) for your travel destination, CIBC’s COVID-19 insurance plan may provide emergency medical and quarantine expenses if you test positive for COVID-19 while on your trip.
- Up to $1 million of emergency medical coverage related to the treatment of COVID-19
- Up to $150 per day to a maximum of $2,100 for meals and accommodation expenses if you need to quarantine as a result of a positive COVID-19 test
