How to order foreign currency online

4 steps to ordering foreign currency online

Choose from up to 65 currencies

Sign on to online banking and select "Order Cash Now". Follow the prompts to select your currency and amount, confirm exchange rate, and add additional currencies.

Step 2 of 4

Select delivery method

Choose from 2 delivery locations: CIBC Banking Centre or home.

Delivery is free and takes 1 to 3 business days¹. Home deliveries are made by Canada Post.

Complete payment

Review your order and choose a CIBC account to complete your payment.

Step 4 of 4

Confirmation

Once you submit your order, you'll see your confirmation screen. Select "Order Status" to track your order.

You'll also receive a confirmation email. If you chose delivery to a banking centre, we'll notify you by email when your order is ready.
