The main navigation has moved to the bottom of the screen, but your prioritized navigation menu categories (Home, Move Money, Advice, and More) remain the same.
To navigate the CIBC mobile app using the new bottom navigation, simply select the category you wish to view from the bottom menu.
The eDeposit option will be available under the “Move Money” tile.
Manage My Alerts is now accessible through the “Settings and Security” option under the “More” tile on the navigation menu.
You can send money overseas through the “Global Money Transfer” option under the “Move Money” tile on the navigation menu.
You can access all the different options for transferring funds through the “Move Money” tile on the bottom navigation menu.
You can access your eStatements under the "My Documents" option through the "More" tile.
Yes, you can view the new bottom navigation on your tablets. too. However, make sure that you’re using the latest version of the CIBC mobile app to view the access the navigation upgrades.
No, you can’t hide the bottom navigation bar at this point in time.
Virtual Assistant
Yes, you can minimize an active chat.
You can access the virtual assistant chat on the “Home” tab.
The blinking indicates a new message has been received. A green dot indicates that a chat is active. An “X” indicates a chat is offline.
